HA! I know this is totally illegal, but I just hacked into my moms blog!! I just figured that it's been so long since she's written anything about Lilly- and times a wastin! Lilly is getting bigger everyday and soon she'll be a GROWN UP! (ok- not for like 25 years, but you get where I'm comin' from.)
A couple of days ago, Lilly was throwin a fit (something she's perfected these days) and Jason grabbed her and sat down.

"Lilly," he said, very seriously, "all that crying is not going to get you anything."

"Daddy," Lilly said, just as seriously and holding his face in her tiny hand, "I'm crying because I really need you to get me my turtle."

How Jason held it together, I'll never know. I had to walk out of the room I was laughing so hard. She certainly knows how to work it.

At this moment, it's nap time and, of course, Lilly is fighting me tooth and nail. What is it about kids and naps? I wish there was some way to explain to them that naps are GOOD. Grown ups would LOVE to be forced to take a nap in the middle of the day! It would make us less cranky too!
